Patricia, also known as Trisha, is 9 years old. Ever since their parents separated, her mother, Quilla is anxious to make their children different activities. For example, museums visits, and if it is not, a hike in the wilderness.
It is always better to follow the trail!
Pete and Mum fought constantly and were working together so that everything around them fell into oblivion. Trisha tried in vain to both draw attention to themselves and their innermost needs. No one should be able to catch a glimpse of her bare naked butt, and so she decided to leave the trail not only but to go so far until she was sure to avoid detection and even to the point that it quickly the way could see again.
>>... at half past ten, it has lost in the woods. At eleven clock she tries not to be afraid. Not to remember that people who get lost, perhaps never return. Hunger and thirst, mosquitoes and wild animals, loneliness and darkness to feel. \u0026lt;\u0026lt;
observed yourself and not knowing of whom you are being observed, can rob a reason. How well the Trisha its Walkman battery powered backpack had So she could listen to the game the Red Sox. Tom Gordon at least it distracted from everything - from the darkness that surrounded them, the rustling of forest leaves, and especially of their inner voice that told her all the time, she was lost. This voice was treacherous and mean!
opinion:
Now I know again why I have a soft spot for Stephen King's short stories - the one to go crawl under your skin so that it cuts off the air and one can not sleep for fear and excitement can. "ES" I have not read, but Carrie had me in those days took the air!
With "The Girls" is different. King impressed with the attention to detail and you can literally smell the forest air, feel the madness when it expires and Trisha go crazy for the eyeballs left and right. However, I lacked the "goose bumps" of what was behind Trisha ago. divert too many innings, Trisha and the reader. .... and beside me is a fan who would like to choke me, but he has not read this book! However, I found the afterword by Stephen King very well done! Ahhh - a smile makes his face width of the fans!
