It probably happens to all make-up enthusiasts once at least. You've fallen in love with a limited shade from your favourite cosmetics brand and before you've had the chance to get your hands on it, it is sold out and gone. One of the most sought-after shades on the market from the last beauty season must have been Hypnotizing eye shadow, a frosted grey mauve by M.A.C. from their December 2009 Love Lace collection.
Sadeer, one of the make-up artists at my local M.A.C. Store in Duesseldorf, Germany, shared his recipe with me how to create a quite similar shade using three different eye shadows from the permanent range.

I would have loved to try this on my own but unfortunately I am missing Shale e/s at the moment, so maybe you could help me out. Have you tried to layer these three colours and compared the result to the original Hypnotizing , by any chance?
